Bonjour,
As reported in the Portsmouth News paper.
A father of four who was returning to his car to leave some items in it was approached by a ticket tout who asked for his used tickets. He refused and carried on his way, as he returned to the park the same tout was waiting for him and asked again for his tickets, when he refused a second time, the tout punched him repeatedly in his face. The injuries caused to the man resulted in him having emergency surgery to have 2 of his front teeth and a piece of jaw bone removed.
This incident took place on the public land where there are always locals trying to get the tourists money. This includes taking pictures in the morning of you walking to the park to in the evening drawing caricatures of you or selling you plastic Eiffel towers, battery operated kittens or lasers. Unfortunately because this land is public Disney are unable to patrol this area.
Ciao,
R°O°nald
